This is a free conference, organised by LUCCI, a research environment at Lund University financed for 10 years 2008-2018. The conference will be held in Lund, Sweden, on October 2-4. The theme for the conference is carbon cycling and climate interactions, with historacally, present time and future aspects. The conference is presented in sessions, and abstracts can be submitted for specific sessions or in general.

2-4 October: LUCCI Conference
Presentations, posters and talks
Time frames for presentations:
25 + 5 minutes
15 + 5 minutes
Posters will be presented with a speed talk before a poster mingle session in relation to the conference session theme.
Guidelines for the poster presentation:
1-2 minutes to introduce your poster - (only 2 minutes!) where you have the chance to give enough information about your poster and make the audience curious and interested about your research. There is no perfect format for this - be creative. You can chose how you want to do this: by using 1slide (only one!), drawing/writing on the white board or just giving a short talk - you decide!
If you choose to use one slide, remember you need to send it to margarida [dot] soares [at] biol [dot] lu [dot] se on the latest on the 1st October.
Understanding today’s carbon cycle and its interactions with the climate system and ecosystems
Carbon cycling in northern peatlands, past, present and future
Climate and carbon cycle variability during the Quaternary
Mass extinctions, carbon cycle and climate proxies in ancient ecosystems
Modelling of present and future ecosystem processes with a background of Holocene and pre-Holocene scenarios and data
Fees and expenses policy
This conference in the final of the research council funded ten year research environment LUCCI. We are inviting you to join for free to celebrate and to contribute to make it a great conference. However, there will be a fee of 500 SEK for late cancellations to cover food and administration costs.
